help wanted: have you seen this picture

11:38 26. tammikuuta 2005<br />
helsinki

the above pic snuck into my phone (or lifeblog software) about one hour after i unpacked the box and started using it*. i don't recall taking it--sure, i jetpacked to pasila at around that time, but i didn't take aerial photos.

has anybody else seen this pic somewher? where does it come from?

how, in general, do these weird foreign objects get lodged in peoples' consumer electronics?

* i'm really liking the phone so far, god bless the little bastard, but getting it to work with my pc was really way, way too much of a hassle. there's a glimpse of the process documented at the ever-entertaining fish.

dude, yes, this is a sample photo that came with Lifeblog (just so it wouldn't be an empty Lifeblog the first time you opened it - and there should have been another one with it, smiling faces). and yes, it's a view over downtown Helsinki.

what phone do you have? have you been blogging from Lifeblog to this blog? what do you think of it?

tchau,

hi charlie!

yeah, the smiley people pic i obviously recognized, it's kind of been all over the place. olli told me he took the aerial pic, small world..

to your question: i'm rocking a 6670 and likin' it (the camera improvement from the 3650 is _massive_). and of course moblogging with lifeblog is sweet--typepad have their shit together in a big way, and the lifeblog/typepad interoperation is just dandy so it's a great experience.

bad news for you guys however. i already pay typepad monthly for hosting, CMS, syndication, and a great interface. i use the fully-functional lifeblog 1.5 on the mobile to hoist the photos up. it'd be a bit of a stretch for me to pay again for lifeblog PC--for me, it's essentially part of the same experience.

if i'd had the option, when signing up for typepad, to get a bundled deal (preferably with some nominal discount effect) to get a license for my pc lifeblog too, i'd have jumped on that in a heartbeat. they have clearly synergy in value, so paying two different parties for them is wack. i mean, it’s a small thing but i bet you’d ship more license if you’d have 6a in on marketing that deal.

what do you think?
